Strongly supporting and advancing model enterprises! Lao Finance Minister SantiphabPhomvihanevisited Asia-Potash’s potash production base in Laos.

On March 13, 2024, H.E. Somsavat Phomvihane, Minister of Finance of the Lao PDR, visited Asia-Potash’s potassium fertilizer production base in Khammouan Province to assess leading enterprises’ role in Laos’ economic development. He was accompanied by Benmi Phimmasone, Chairperson of the Provincial People’s Congress, and Tong Yongheng, Deputy General Manager of Asia-Potash and head of its Lao operations, along with the management team. 

Minister Phomvihane praised Asia-Potash for advancing Laos’ socioeconomic development and international standards, calling it a high-quality, benchmark-setting model enterprise and a trusted partner of the Lao people. He emphasized that the central governmentand personally the Prime Ministerclosely follows the company’s progress and has provided direct guidance to the industrial park. He urged Asia-Potash to sustain excellence and serve as a replicable model for other Lao enterprises.
