Asia-Potash wins the 2023 “Golden Microphone” Award for breaking through overseas potash supply constraints and safeguarding national food security.

On January 20, the China Chemical News Society held its 2023 Annual Top Ten Industry News and Public Opinion Report Ceremony. Attendees included Gu Xiulian (former Vice Chairperson of the NPC Standing Committee), Li Shousheng (President of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation), and Wang Xiaofeng (President of the China Inorganic Salt Industry Association). Under the theme “Uncovering the Stories Behind the Top Ten News,” the event spotlighted key industry developments and honored leading enterprises. Asia-Potash, the only potassium fertilizer company recognized for advancing China’s food security, was commended by the organizing committee: “It overcame major obstacles to secure stable overseas potassium supply. Its vision and execution safeguard national food security and support China’s rejuvenation.” 

At the ceremony, the story “Pursuing—Crossing Mountains and Seas: ‘Asia Potash Speed’ Boosts Food Security” was named one of the 2023 Petrochemical Industry’s Top Ten Outstanding Stories. Asia-Potash also won the 2023 “Golden Microphone” Award for storytelling, recognizing its success in scaling up overseas potash production and ensuring stable domestic potassium fertilizer supply.
