Safety and Emergency First Aid Training

In line with the principle of continuously expanding the company’s medical resources to provide better medical protection and treatment services for employees, Asia-Potash has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Udon branch of Bangkok Hospital in Thailand to conduct comprehensive cooperation aimed at enhancing employee medical service levels. Recently, to strengthen employees' awareness of safety and first aid knowledge, both parties conducted first aid training at Asia-Potash potash fertilizer production base in Laos. Over 50 participants, including Dr. Rongrit Sukplung from the Udon branch’s emergency medicine department, Liu Feilong, Assistant General Manager of Sino-Agri, medical staff from the company’s medical office, department safety officers, and first aid volunteers, attended the training.

The training adopted a “lecture, demonstration, practice” model, allowing participants to practice while learning skills to receive immediate correct guidance, ensuring they master emergency rescue operation skills and reinforce their self-rescue awareness and mutual aid capabilities. The training content included methods for handling general work-related accidents and first aid skills for potential serious illnesses, as well as the Heimlich maneuver. This provides a solid guarantee for employees to handle sudden incidents promptly, quickly, and correctly in both work and life, further protecting their safety.
